A couple more questions - users see list of people online; periodic announcemnts

Hi, Thanks so much for the responses.  It looks like our group may be moving to ishoutbox this weekend!

- Can users see the list of who's currently online?

- Can we change the font to something else?

- Can we have a periodic announcement, say every 4 hours?

No, but it is on the todo list.

- Can we change the font to something else?

In the adminpanel you can use the "Skin preferences" to change the font type and font size of several element types.

- Can we have a periodic announcement, say every 4 hours?

No. How would that work? Do you mean it shows a specific shout at the top (like a sticky/pinned shout) at certain time intervals?

It doesn't have to be sticky, just needs to appear every 3 or 4 hours and then go into the shout stream.

This is probably for very busy shoutboxes with a fast moving shout stream, otherwise those mesages pile up. But no, this is not something that is currently possible with ishoutbox.
