Any down-time today? - shoutbox prob.

Hello, we have one of your shoutboxes on our website. Today the posts within the box have dissappeared and all we are left with is the entry fields. The shouts however are still viewable within the admin panel.

This is very strange. Yesterday, i implemented the shout caching features that i was planning for the new version. This was pushed forward because of the extreme load the shoutboxes were putting on the server lately during the evenings. I did test it prior to implementing it, but it seems with your box something went wrong.

I'll have a look at your box to find out why yours is behaving this way.

I found the problem. The sticky shout at the top had no name. I am puzzled about this, because posting without a name should not be possible at all. How did you post that one (maybe a bug in the current version)? I changed that "noname" to "Admin". Feel free to change it back, but be sure to use a name, as noname shouts interfere with caching.
